Who We Are: Paul Wisenthal

Paul Wisenthal is an editorial consultant, writer and lecturer.

As founder and owner of The Professional Writer, he has helped new and established authors in both the development, marketing and publishing of their book projects for two decades.

Paul Wisenthal writes about youth issues for young people. With over 70 published stories, his works appear in Newsday, New York Times, Scholastic magazines and other publications. Nominated for a Pulitzer in 2004, his recent story on student alcoholism, syndicated in 50 newspapers, was cited by The Southern Newspaper Publishers Association as the best new product for middle schools.

Linda Braun, VP Development, brings over 20 years of publishing experience. She was a buyer for Barnes and Noble and Waldenbooks

Jan Legnitto, is an independent producer/ director/ writer, whose work has won 2 Emmy Awards, a Columbia-duPont Award, 2 Cine Gold Eagles, the International Science Prize, as well as 3 Emmy nominations. She worked as a producer for 60 Minutes and the CBS Evening News for 8 years. Currently, Legnitto is producing Finding Jackson Pollock, a feature length documentary for New Line Cinema, which will be released in movie theatres in 2006.

Jim Cummins, award winning photo journalist, works for the New York Times, Newsday, and New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

Martin Vajda, art director/ website designer, has spent over 20 years in internet tech development, designing and building websites. He currently works for Ogilvy Healthworld.

Sanjay Nadesan, works as a research editor. He has contributed to stories about youth which appeared in Newsday and the New York Times.

Dr. Sarajane Brittis, worked for years as a program officer for The John A.Hartford Foundation. She writes about aging and health issues.
